Workbook

Product

One system, from the booking to the invoice.

A service business sells a job, schedules it, staffs it, moves a crew to the site, records what happened, and bills for it. Workbook is one system for that whole line, instead of a scheduling tool, a spreadsheet of staff, and a separate book of invoices.

01

Bookings & Dispatch

Scheduling
Jobs are booked against real availability — the service, its duration, the area it is in, and who is free to do it. Travel time between jobs is part of the schedule rather than an afterthought.
The dispatch board
A day at a glance: what is booked, what is staffed, what is running, and what needs somebody to look at it. Crews and drivers are assigned to trips, and the board shows the day as it actually unfolds.
End states that hold
Completed, cancelled and unable-to-complete are terminal. Reopening one is a privileged correction with a record attached, not an edit — so the operational history means something a month later.

02

Workforce

A portable staff identity
A field worker has one identity across the organisations they have worked for, with their own skills and history, instead of being re-keyed by every employer.
Roles that mean something
Owners, admins, managers, supervisors and dispatchers see different things and can do different things. Every operation is gated on a named capability, not on “is this person staff”.
Availability and attendance
Who is working, when, and where — rosters, duty, and the attendance record the schedule is built on.

03

Services & Pricing

A structured catalog
Services, durations, what they require and what they include — described once, priced per area, and used everywhere a job is booked.
Multi-area operations
A business that works across several parts of a city prices and staffs them separately. The catalog is built for that rather than patched for it.
Category-agnostic
The vocabulary does not assume cleaning, or air conditioning, or anything else. Whatever the trade, the shape is the same: a job, a crew, a site, a record.

04

Customers

One operational record
Every customer, their addresses, and everything ever booked at each of them — so the crew going out tomorrow knows what happened last time.
Billing
Invoices for the work done, and the payment record against them. Customer billing only: Workbook does not settle with vendors, run payouts, or take a commission.
Data rights
Export, correction and erasure are built in, and every one of them leaves a trail. Master data is retired rather than deleted once anything references it.

05

The field app

The crew does not work at a desk. Field staff and drivers get their day on a phone: the jobs assigned to them, the route between them, what to record on site, and what to do when the job is not what the booking said it was.

Built for a bad signal
A basement, a lift shaft and a compound with no coverage are normal conditions, not edge cases. What the phone records is kept and sent when there is a connection, and sending it twice cannot double it.
Evidence where it is asked for
Photographs and readings captured on site, attached to the job, visible in the office the moment they land.
Arabic and English
The whole product, both directions. The first market is the Gulf and right-to-left is a first-class layout, not a translation layer.
